These bikes are just too much fun… So much so that we’ve owned three of them! I bought my first KX100 back in 2018 when I was looking for a bigger play bike than the KLX110L I had at the time. I was missing the two stroke life and needed another fix. Well it did the trick, the KX100 is a blast for even a guy my size and I loved ripping through the plowed fields held wide open listening to the little power band sing. We ended up getting one for Alexis after the 150RB but it just wasn’t a good fit for the riding we were doing and was constantly fouling plugs and flooding out on the trails.

While the OG KX100 was down, I wanted another because that’s just how fun they are! I found a deal of a lifetime on Facebook marketplace but unfortunately wasn’t home to go get it…so what did I do? I sent my mom and girlfriend to go pick up a “mint” condition KX100.

Alexis’s kx100

When Alexis got into trail riding we eventually got her on a KX100 after her CRF150RB. While keeping the bike didn’t last long, she gained a lot of throttle control and skill on the bike. As well as learning how to change quite a few spark plugs on the trails. After some time, we ended up selling the bike to a young boy who was going to race motocross - it was the perfect match for him.
