pit bikes
Where my love for riding reignited.. I remember scrolling across YouTube and finding videos of Bakerxderek & Fooligan but ultimately Lee Stuart sparked my interest to fulfill my childhood dream of owning a pit bike. There was just something exciting about watching full sized adults rip around on these little kids bikes and I wanted to join the fun.
kawasaki klx110L
At the time the fuel injected crf110 didn’t exist, and the KLX110 was the staple, specifically the L model which offered a bit longer wheelbase and taller frame design. I was new to the world of buying, selling, and trading, but regardless me and a couple of my buddies hopped in the ol’ XJ and headed 3 hours north to one of the sketchiest deals I have ever done. We got scammed out of the title and the bike was pretty clapped, but it was all I could afford at the time and I had a blast ripping it. I have been through three other KLX bikes since, and they have been a pleasure to own.
honda crf125 fb
When the 2019 trail bike lineup was announced from Honda I was ecstatic, they finally introduced fuel injection to their little air cooled motors. It only made sense seeing that the 125cc engine in the Grom was so similar and utilized a near identical throttle body. The 125FB was the favorite pit bike I have ever owned, with the bulletproof engine and reliable FI system, I had a blast ripping back roads through Ohio on one wheel.
Honda xr100
You can’t talk about pit bikes without mentioning Honda. They are the kings in the little trail bike class and the infamous XR100 is a mini that a lot of my buddies own and love to this day. Tried, true, reliable as they come, this really is the perfect size for taller folk looking for a budget friendly mini to romp around on.
honda crf110F
The CRF110 is the ultimate Moto Bro pit bike. Stay pitted and slay some whoops at the local BMX park🤢 In all seriousness the CRF110 is the best pit bike out right now with the modern fuel injection system and parts availability through the aftermarket. I have owned 4 of them and will probably own another sooner or later..
