The (All Terrain Cycle) .. Over the years I have had the pleasure to own multiple 3-wheelers: a 1984 “BigRed” 200ES, the 1985 “Big Red” 250ES (which I currently own), and the 1984 125 which we named “Little Red”. These machines are a huge part of Power Sports history, and were actually banned by the Government in 1988 due to the many injuries and deaths that had occurred. I think the whole thing was blown out of proportion due to some bigger agenda and while they can tip over easier than a 4 wheeler, as long as you follow the instructions (yes there are instructions given with the owner’s manual) they are fairly easy to ride, and are far more nimble than any quad. We have had some epic adventures on these 3 wheeled machines and I look forward to slowly restoring my Big Red over the years.
